RELEASE NOTE FOR MWS S60 Plug-in FOR S60 3RD EDITION SDK FOR
SYMBIAN OS, FOR C++, MAINTENANCE RELEASE / FP1		      15.12.2008

Introduction:
=============
The Mobile Web Server is an http server for mobile devices. MWS S60 Plug-in is based on Apache web server and mod_python. 
Apache and mod_python enables server-side application development for devices based on the S60 platform.
After installing MWS S60 Plug-in it is possible to create web content for mobile web server.

The documentation and example applications are installed under the
MWS-directory in the SDK installation directory. Documentation is installed under the documents-directory and the
example web applications under the Examples-directory. Demo applications for mobile are installed under the SIS-directory.

Prerequisites:
==============

S60 3rd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, for C++, Maintenance Release or 
S60 3rd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, supporting Feature Pack 1, for C++ must
be installed prior to installing and use the plug-in.

The system requirements are the same as those for the S60 3rd edition
SDK.


Installation/Re-installation:
=============================
Run MWS_S60_Plugin_For_S60_3rd_Ed.exe and follow the instructions.

MWS S60 Plug-in includes:
	- Python For S60 SDK for emulator
	- MWS core for emulator
	- Default web content
	- Documents
	- Examples for web content
	- Demo files (sis) for mobile terminal
	- Open C Plug-in MR for S60 C++ SDK

Notes/ Known issues:
====================

This plug-in adds MWS functionality to the S60 3rd edition SDK.

 - The emulator does not support all the MWS functionality that a
   terminal supports, e.g. Camera Web application.

 - Current MWS S60 Plug-in doesn't support thumbnails in emulator environment
 	- images are shown in fullsize in default web content

 - While Running in Locally, there might be a problem using web content in Mozilla Firefox
	- If running in Internet-mode, there is no problems.

It is recommended to test your own mobsite content in terminal, before releasing it. 
All features aren't working same way in emulator environment and in mobile phones.
