RELEASE NOTE FOR SENSOR API SDK PLUG-IN FOR S60 3RD EDITION SDK FOR
SYMBIAN OS, FOR C++, MAINTENANCE RELEASE		       22.6.2006

Introduction:
=============

This plug-in installs on top of the S60 C++ SDK for Symbian OS and
provides support for the Sensor Server API. It is intended for
utilising the internal 3D accelerometer sensor on the Nokia 5500 Sport
terminal.


Prerequisites:
==============

S60 3rd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, for C++ must be installed prior to
installing the plug-in. The Maintenance Release of the SDK is
recommended.

The system requirements are the same as those for the S60 3rd edition
SDK.


Installation:
=============
Run Sensor_plugin_S60_3rd_ed.exe and follow the instructions.


Notes:
======

This plug-in adds Sensor Server API support to S60 public SDKs. This
plug-in only supports compiling for terminals. Currently, only the
Nokia 5500 terminal supports the Sensor Server API.

The documentation and example applications are installed under the
Sensor-directory in the SDK installation directory. Under there, the
API documentation is installed under the doc-directory and the
example application under the SensorServerExample-directory.
